Edward Laubach, O.D.

 Dr. Laubach received his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry in 1991 and his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the California State University at Fullerton in 1987.


Dr. Laubach has over 25 years of optometric experience & he has worked at East Bay Eye Centers since 2005. He provides primary vision care, contact lens fittings, & problem-focused eye examinations. He also serves as the optometric liaison & developed the co-management literature for the local referring doctors. Dr. Laubach is also TPA certified and thoroughly trained for therapeutic management of ocular diseases. 


Dr. Laubach’s mission is to provide the East Bay Eye Centers patients with quality and personalized care, in order to maintain their life-long eye health and vision. 


The proud parent of two teenage boys, Dr. Laubach has integrated a dedication to family and community. He has done several volunteer efforts for the community, including various vision screenings for the Lions Club and local schools. Dr. Laubach is an active leader of the Boy Scouts program. After serving as Cubmaster for 3 years and Assistant Scoutmaster for 3 years, he currently spent the last 3 years as the Troop Committee Chair. Dr. Laubach enjoys baseball, photography, cooking, hiking, camping and spending time with his family & two dogs.
