Viet H. Ho, M.D.

Dr. Viet H. Ho grew up in the Sacramento area. He studied chemical engineering at Cornell University and completed his medical training at Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts. After finishing his surgical internship at the University of California, Davis Medical Center, he went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.


Dr. Ho continued his post-residency training and specialization in Houston, Texas, where he completed a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.  He has authored numerous book chapters and articles that appear in scientific journals.

Dr. Ho was in private practice in Fresno prior to relocating to the Bay Area in 2008. He finds reconstructive and cosmetic oculoplastic surgery very rewarding.  This ophthalmic specialty deals with aging related and functional disorders of the eyelids (droopiness, excessive skin, eversion/inversion), the lacrimal drainage system (tearing), the orbits (tumors and fractures), post-cancer reconstructions as well as cosmetic surgery of the eyelids, brows, midface and cheek. Dr. Ho also offers Botox and facial fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane, etc.).


Dr. Ho is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology as well as the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.


Interests include travel, photography, skiing, diving, biking and fishing.
